Kathmandu Lhasa Motorbike Tour

The roads were challenging, but the Himalayan Trekkers crew ensured we were never alone.

There was a mechanic, a support van, oxygen cylinder, and constant check-ins. Special shoutout to Tashi, our lead rider who handled altitude logistics like a champ.

As a solo female biker, I was a bit nervous, but Himalayan Trekker’s team handled every detail and made sure I felt part of the group from day one. The ride across the Tibetan Plateau was spiritually intense monasteries, prayer flags, and endless skies.

Riding from Nepal to Tibet with Himalayan Trekkers was a deeply fulfilling journey. The roads were wild, weather unpredictable, and altitudes high, but the support was top-notch. From the chaos of Kathmandu to the serenity of Lhasa, this ride was like a spiritual cleanse. The riding was tough in places especially over high passes but we were so well-supported that we never worried.

Lhakpa, our Tibetan guide, made history and spirituality come alive at every monastery. Raj was always available during the entire trip which made us feel secure and I cannot thank the entire team enough for a wonderful adventure. Truly a unique experience, far beyond just biking.
