Tibet Overland Tour with Ghandruk Trek is a combined journey to multiple nations that encompasses a week-long trek in the famous Annapurna Region and a road trip to Tibet.
The trek to Ghanduk and Ghorepani is best for both beginner or expert hikers, to get insights into the Nepalese rural lifestyle along with rich culture and traditions. One of the highlights of this trip is a 45-minute hike from Ghorepani on a hilltop, to get the early sunrise views of the entire Annapurna Ranges which is really mindblowing.
This overall trek allows you to explore the different vegetation, culture, and style of locals while walking past towns like Ghorepani, Ulleri, and Ghandruk.
Additionally, since our arrival is in Kathmandu, we have a couple of days dedicated to exploring Kathmandu Valley, such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Swayambhunath Temple, and two Newari (ethnic group) villages of Kokana and Bungmati on the outskirts of Kathmandu.
Next, we will drive or fly to Pokhara, (according to your preference) and explore the city of "Lake Paradise", - a beautiful city in the lap of beautiful dazzling peaks with people of world-famous hospitality.
The journey to Tibet begins after crossing the border of Nepal, in Tibet at Liping, and then through the Tibetan plateau to Lhasa on a high-altitude road. Seven days allocated to tour Tibet offers its unique natural beauty and spiritual atmosphere where we visit the famous sites enlisted in our itinerary.
The trip ends in Lhasa after spending a couple of nights there.
