Baruntse Expedition with Mera Peak Climbing Overview
Baruntse Expedition with Mera Peak Climbing incorporates climbing Mera Peak at the height of 6476 meters as well as the expedition of Baruntse Peak (7129 meters). However, our main objective for this package is Mount Baruntse while Mera Peak climbing helps us properly acclimatized, nevertheless, provides additional views of the Everest region from unique angles.
Mount Baruntse is targeted by many adventures because the success rate of reaching its zenith and returning safely is more compared to other peaks of similar heights.
This climbing journey has the best possible views of the mountains like Mount Everest (8848 meters), Mt. Lhotse (8516 meters), Mt. Makalu (8481 meters), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201 meters), and several other popular peaks.
Mera Peak climbing is comparatively easier than the Baruntse expedition and helps people overcome the fear of climbing a peak with a height of more than 7000 meters.
Baruntse expedition also provides a perfect training experience for those aiming to climb a mountain with a height in the range of 8000 meters. Located between much taller peaks i.e. Lhotse and Makalu, climbing Baruntse might not require technical climbing skills but mountains are eventually mountains - much demanding and taxing.
We the help of our seasoned Sherpas and experienced mountaineering guides, and a few training beforehand, the trip can be completed in 35 days.

Best Time for Climbing
The best season for this Expedition is the Spring season (March, April, May) and Autumn (September, October, November) season. These seasons are blessed with tolerable weather that is neither too extreme nor unpredictable.
In addition to that, the views of the mountains lakes, and glaciers are very clear and glowing under clear blue skies during these seasons. The trails are also safe and dry providing you with further advantage thus making these two seasons the best time for Baruntse expeditions.
These places might get busy or occupied during these peak seasons.
Summer (June, July, August) due to the unsteady weather, heavy rain, slippery trails, and unclear views due to fog, and Winter (December, January, February) due to extremely harsh weather that can go below -30 degrees centigrade.
